Scott Cho - Jr Giants shot 006 and 119 (two versions)

Hey guys! I had no chance to present my works last week and I would love to hear some feedback. Thank you!

P.S: I did not use default cameras on purpose to play with camera angles. I also have just added latest revision of shot 119.

  1. Hey Scott!

Looking good so far. My first recommendation for both clips is to have some sort of keep alive on the rigs into the end of the clip. Both characters in both shots just stop moving in the middle of the shots. And I know that the clips are very short, however its pretty evident that they both stop. So maybe just slightly adjust the pose at a frame after your shot so that they seem to be moving just slightly.

For the top shot of the book, I think it may present better if you had the book angled the other way. Right now the book ends in the frame at what seems to be at a 45° angle. If you were presenting a book to someone (which the camera is the view of the other person) I'd see if you could angle the book in a way to make parallel with the edges of the view of the camera.

In the bottom shot, I think he's leaning on a baseball bat? I think it looks a bit awkward to have his elbow so far away from his body. The upper arm would run parallel to the body and hinge out from the elbow to rest on the bat. And then when he moves his hand leaves the bat. I'd make sure to anchor the hand to the bat with a Parent Constraint maybe so that his hand stays in place.
